    ASSISTANCE LEAGUE'S NEW CLOSETS SERVE 4800 CITY SCHOOL STUDENTS

    Assistance League of St. Louis today announces the opening of 17 fully equipped closets in Saint Louis Public Schools to provide basic clothing needs even more quickly to deserving children. This delivery model will serve more than 4,800 elementary school students and is a new approach for this organization, which annually touches the lives or more than 44,000 St. Louisans and has provided help to deserving children and adults for more than 30 years.

    GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY FOR CHESTERFIELD SPORTSCOMPLEX SET FOR NOVEMBER 10

    Chesterfield Hockey Association will break ground on the new Chesterfield SportsComplex in a ceremony on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Development for the complex began in September and is expected to take 11 months to complete. The grand opening is estimated for late summer 2019.

    STATEMENT FROM HUMAN SOCIETY OF MISSOURI PRESIDENT KATHY WARNICK REGARDING THE CLOSING OF HSMO'S CHESTERFIELD VALLEY LOCATION

    Last week, the Humane Society of Missouri announced the closing of the organization’s facilities in Chesterfield Valley, effective Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018.  The closing includes the operations of both the Adoption Center and Animal Medical Center of Mid-America at 17537 Edison Ave., Chesterfield, Mo. 63005. The location will continue to offer animals for adoption and serve veterinary clients until 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018.

    Logan University has entered into an affiliation agreement with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS), wherein Logan clinicians and student interns will provide chiropractic care within TVHS. The goal of this partnership is to enhance patient care, education and research opportunities for both institutions.
