AARP Smart Driver Course
Chesterfield Police to Offer AARP Smart Driver Course on September 23: Graduates can receive discounts from Auto Insurance Carrier.
In a cooperative effort with the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), the Chesterfield Police Department is hosting an AARP Smart Driver Course.
The AARP Smart Driver Course is a recently updated, research-based driver improvement class that provides tips to adapt and compensate for changes as a result of aging. The course also teaches valuable defensive driving skills, a rules of the road refresher, and safety strategies. The four-hour course is taught in a single morning session and does not involve a test.
Graduates of the course may be eligible to receive a discount from their auto insurance carrier. Please verify this with your individual auto insurance carrier prior to registering for the course.

The course will be held on Wednesday, September 23 from 9:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. at Chesterfield City Hall, located at 690 Chesterfield Parkway West.
Fees/Admission
AARP members can attend the course for a nominal fee of $15.00. Non-members can attend for a fee of $20.00.
