DESCRIPTION:Chesterfield Police to Offer AARP Smart Driver Course on September 23: Graduates can receive discounts from Auto Insurance Carrier. \n\n \n\nIn a cooperative effort with the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP)\, the Chesterfield Police Department is hosting an AARP Smart Driver Course.\n\nThe AARP Smart Driver Course is a recently updated\, research-based driver improvement class that provides tips to adapt and compensate for changes as a result of aging.  The course also teaches valuable defensive driving skills\, a rules of the road refresher\, and safety strategies.  The four-hour course is taught in a single morning session and does not involve a test. \n\n\n\nGraduates of the course may be eligible to receive a discount from their auto insurance carrier. Please verify this with your individual auto insurance carrier prior to registering for the course.
