    Rockwood School District

    Dr. Mark Miles has more than 25 years in public education, serving since 2019 as superintendent of the highly rated Rockwood School District in St. Louis County, Missouri. In this role, he has provided leadership and direction for educational continuity during the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. Miles has a reputation for championing a united vision of academic excellence and student development, improving student performance in high‐achieving districts and ensuring the effective and efficient use of fiscal resources. He understands the importance of community engagement and encourages a participatory, team-focused leadership style. A native Missourian, Dr. Miles is pleased to serve the students, staff, parents and community members of the Rockwood School District.

    Family

    Dr. Miles and his wife, Rebekah, have three children. Their son, Leighton, works as a national technology consultant in Kansas. Their daughter, Sydney, attends the University of Alabama, and their daughter, Natalie, attends the University of Missouri-Columbia.  He enjoys spending time with family, reading and attending school events and activities.  Fitness is also an important part of his life, including walking and running.
