Sitter Skills
This program was developed for beginning babysitters, girls and boys, age 11 and older to help make their babysitting experience a success. Topics include: Information on safety, basic first-aid, child development, behavior management and babysitting as a business. A babysitting resource book, a certificate of participation, a tote bag and light refreshments will be provided. The child's comfort level with being alone, maturity, and ability to handle difficult situations are good signs that he or she are ready to babysit.
