DESCRIPTION:Our goals are:\n\n	Provision of education/information regarding rehabilitation and preventative care.\n	To offer a safe environment for survivors and caregivers to communicate personal experiences and recommendations.\n	To deliver support and inspiration to survivors and caregivers at all stages of stroke recovery.\n	To provide information about community resources and equipment.\n\n	\n\n	Our stroke support group is designed to help survivors and caregivers to move forward with their life after a stroke. Group activities include:\n\n\n\n	Sharing milestones\n	Identifying barriers and accomplishments\n	Guest Speakers\n	Educational videos\n	Focus topics: assistive devices\, walking strategies\n	Consults: dietary\, social work\, and nursing\n	Identifying resources for survivors and caregivers\n\n\n\nMeetings are the second Tuesday of every month from 4 to 5 p.m. in the dining room of St. Luke's Rehabilitation Hospital located at 14709 Olive Boulevard in Chesterfield.\n\nPlease RSVP at 314-317-5792.  Fees: Free
