SUMMARY:General Membership Meeting June 2018
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Monthly General Membership Meeting\, sponsored by Green Trails Church as they celebrate their 50th anniversary. The topic for this meeting will be Values\, Culture\, and My Grade School Soccer Coach\, Mr. Nolan presented by special guest speaker Dan Coughlin.\n\nValues and culture are the engine under the hood of performance in every organization. In this presentation you will learn practical ways to strengthen that engine in your organization. Values are beliefs a person considers to be so important that they drive his or her behaviors on a consistent basis. Culture consists of the beliefs a group of people consider to be so important that they drive behaviors across the organization on a consistent basis. One effective way to strengthen your culture is to tell real-life stories from your organization that highlight the values you want driving consistent behaviors. Another effective way is to make sure that people are defining their values in the same consistent way. It's very important that you fight for your organization's values. When they are strong\, your organization stays strong. When they weaken\, your organization suffers.\n\n\n\nEveryone in attendance will receive a free copy of Dan Coughlin's new book\, The Any Person Mindset: Be Accountable to the Difference You Can Make.\n\n \n\nAbout Dan Coughlin \n\nDan Coughlin teaches a management approach called The Any Person Mindset. He is the co-author of the new book\, The Any Person Mindset: Be Accountable to the Difference You Can Make. It says that any person can make a significant difference in an organization\, but no one is born with the necessary traits. These are learned thinking traits. As an executive coach\, he has provided more than 4\,000 executive coaching sessions since 1998. As a keynote speaker\, seminar leader\, and strategic guide\, his clients include McDonald's\, Marriott\, Coca-Cola\, Cisco\, RE/MAX\, St. Louis Cardinals\, Prudential\, and more than 200 other organizations. Visit his free Business Leadership Idea Center at www.thecoughlincompany.com\n\n\n\nEvery month\, the St. Louis Crisis Nursery cares for more than 600 children! We will be collecting items at our GMM and at the office. Healthy snacks for the Nursery's would be most helpful right now. Ex: applesauce\, pudding\, fruit cups\, pop tarts\, graham crackers\, teddy grahams gold fish crackers\, cereal\, Gerber (or similar) toddler snacks.
