DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Chesterfield Regional Chamber's 4th Annual Women's Empowerment event! The event will feature several speakers\, vendors\, lunch\, a fashion show   and a hat contest for those who want to go all out for the Derby Day theme. The main attraction is the lineup of women speakers\, the theme\, 'Queen Bee: Crowned with Confidence'!\n\n\n\n\n \n\nAmy Rose\, Keynote\n\nIn this inspiring keynote\, Amy Rose founder of 1609 Marketing shares her journey of rebuilding a business and redefining leadership through resilience\, integrity\, and self-belief. Drawing on her experience as a longtime agency owner\, corporate marketer\, and woman entrepreneur\, Amy explores what confidence really looks like when life doesn't go according to plan.\n\n\n\nA longtime agency owner\, corporate marketer\, and woman entrepreneur\, Amy began her career in local and corporate marketing before launching her first agency in 2006\, taking it full-time in 2016. Over the years\, she's helped retailers\, franchisees\, financial advisors\, and health and wellness brands grow through smart\, strategic marketing. Her perspective is shaped not just by success\, but by the experience of starting over and choosing to lead with clarity\, confidence\, and authenticity.\n\n\n\nKatrina Mann\, MS\, RD\, LD\, CDCES\, Topic: Salad in a Jar Demonstration\n\nKatrina Mann is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She completed her dietetic internship and earned her Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Eastern Illinois University. Her professional experience spans inpatient and outpatient medical nutrition therapy\, telephonic nutrition services\, and community education. Katrina works with patients on a wide range of topics\, including diabetes\, weight management\, gastrointestinal concerns\, kidney disease\, and more.\n\n\n\n\n\nMaddison Harmon Vaught\, ISA Certified Arborist and Department Manager at Ryan Lawn & Tree\, Topic: Planting in St. Louis\n\nLong before the Women's Event in May\, Vaught said residents should already be prepping their landscapes for a healthy growing season by focusing on weed prevention\, either by applying a pre-emergent herbicide or through more organic methods such as laying newspaper or cardboard under mulch beds to prevent weed growth. Early spring is also an ideal time to remove dead foliage from herbaceous perennials\, while paying special attention to the best timing for pruning shrubs to encourage flowering and vigorous growth.
