    Gerald has been a resident of Chesterfield since 1978.  He and his wife, Marjorie, have two daughters, Lisa and Joan, a son-in-law, Rico, and two granddaughters, Shannon and Julia.  He was born in St. Louis and attended Central High School and the University of Missouri St. Louis.  He served in the Marine Corps and later worked for the Department of Defense, assigned to the Defense Contract Management Office at McDonnell Douglas St. Louis.  As the Foreign Military Program Manager for the F/A-18, Gerald coordinated issues between the foreign representatives of various governments and the contractor.   He retired from the Federal Government in 1996.  He has been a Board Member of Chesterfield Arts, a member of the Chesterfield Parks and Recreation Committee, a Planning Commissioner for the City of Chesterfield, a member of the Chesterfield Architectural Review Board, and past president of the Chesterfield Kiwanis.  He has been involved in many Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce activities since he joined the Chamber in 1996.  In 2003, Gerald was honored as the Chesterfield Citizen of the Year.  He also received the Commerce Bank/Kemper Community Service Award in 2003.
