Robey Taylor Named New Executive Director!

12-Dec-2011 Don Meyer, Chairman of the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce, is proud to announce that the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce has hired Robey Taylor as the new Executive Director for the Chamber. Robey has been active in the Chesterfield community and the Chesterfield Chamber as he is both a Past Board Chairman and Board Member.

Don Meyer said, “On behalf of the Chesterfield Chamber, I would like to thank all of the members of the Chesterfield Chamber Selection Committee that assisted in our search process. The Chamber was very fortunate to have a diverse group of business leaders that were able to provide their input to ensure that the Chesterfield Chamber selected the best person to lead the Chamber going forward. We had an excellent slate of candidates apply for our executive Director position and we were very fortunate to be able to hire a person with Taylor’s background and experience with both our Chamber and our community. We are excited to have Robey on board to continue to grow and expand the many great programs that our good friend and leader, Joanie Schmelig, initiated over the past 30+ years. The entire Chamber Board looks forward to providing many opportunities for our members to continue to expand their presence within the Chesterfield Community throughout 2012 and beyond.”
