10th Annual Gumbo Flats Pumpkin Run/Walk:

November 1, 2011 

On Saturday, October 29, over 1200 community members participated in the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce’s Tenth Annual Gumbo Flats Pumpkin Run/Walk. This was a special year and the Chamber was proud to celebrate the 10th anniversary of this annual event which is considered a fall tradition for many.

The 10K (6.2 mile) course and the 5K (3.1 mile) course were out and back courses. The Chamber also hosted a ½ mile Children’s Fun Run for ages 8 and under. Many celebrated the season dressed in creative costumes.
