Theatre

The West County YMCA's 370-seat theatre continues to impact Chesterfield's
cultural
scene. The Y Repertory performs 4 shows a year. A variety of outside
art and musical
groups also offer programs through the YMCA. Special events and
activities are available
year round. The theatre may be rented for business seminars, special
events
and more.
Art Trends Gallery

This art gallery features hand painted oil paintings by international
artists, custom
orders for art work, a portrait artist on staff and a variety of
floral arrangements.
The staff at Art Trends Gallery can arrange for custom framing.

Faust Park

Faust Park is a 200-acre county park offering picnic and play areas.
Thornhill, the
historic mansion of Missouri's second Governor, Frederick Bates,
is on the grounds.
Be sure to visit the Historic Village. This re-created 19th century
village features
structures originally from the St. Louis area. The Sophia M. Sachs
Butterfly House &
Education Center and the St. Louis Carousel are also located within
the park.

The Gallery at Chesterfield Arts

This dedicated art space displays fine art and crafts by local and
regional artists,
as well as visiting exhibitions in collaboration with metropolitan
St. Louis galleries.
The Gallery also hosts a traveling show from Exhibits USA, an agency
that tours
professionally curated exhibitions from national museums and collections
around the
Midwest. Open to the public Tuesday – Friday 10 a.m.–
5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.– 4
p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday.
Kemp Auto Museum

One of the largest collections of vintage Mercedes-Benz automobiles
in North America will be among the vehicles on display. This wonderful
facility is also available for rental for parties and special events.

St. Louis Carousel

Carousel featuring more than 60 hand carved horses and deer. The
carousel was
completed around 1920 by the Dentzel Company of Philadelphia and
later restored
by the Faust Cultural Heritage Foundation. Open Tuesday –
Sunday 10 a.m. – 4
p.m. (Hours are subject to change.) Carousel rides $1; children
3 and under are
free with paying adult. A gift shop adjoins the Carousel and children's
programs
are offered throughout the year.
Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House &
Education Center

Includes 8,000 square foot tropical conservatory, the Lopata Learning
Lab, the
Emerson Electric Co. Theatre, the Native Habitat and the Madame
Butterfly Gift
Shop. Inside the soaring three-story conservatory, visitors may
enjoy more than
1,000 tropical butterflies fluttering through the lush, flowering
vegetation. In
addition to self-guided tours, regular events include educational
programs for
all ages, lectures, and special exhibits opening twice yearly and
special events
monthly. Open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Memorial Day – Labor
Day, and 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Thanksgiving,

of St. Louis Airport

Spirit of St. Louis Airport is one of the busiest airports in a
four state region. It
is continually ranked among the top general aviation reliever airports
in the United
States. Focusing on business and general aviation, Spirit's facilities
are open 24-
hours a day 365 days a year and features a 7,500 foot all weather
runway and a
5,000 foot parallel runway. Precision instrument approaches, FAA
Control Tower
and a Regional Flight Service Center enhance the airport's full
service capabilities.
The Airport offers 24-hour on demand charter flights, flight training,
sightseeing,
helicopter service, aircraft rental, and aircraft maintenance.
