Developed by the Business Education Committee, Leadership Chesterfield is modeled after several other highly successful leadership programs throughout the United States.
George Goodman, D.C., President of Logan College of Chiropractic addresses the Leadership Chesterfield Class. During a seven-month period
a group of 15 - 20 participants meet once a month and spend a full
day becoming acquainted with the Chesterfield government and community
service activities, issues and challenges. In addition, each day
they are involved in leadership training programs such as team building,
negotiating and communication skills. The overall theme of the program
is 'Enlightened Leadership.' The Mission of Leadership Chesterfield is to provide a forum of education and growth for emerging leaders of the Chesterfield community. The program establishes a setting where the participants can meet with our government and community leaders to better understand the issues, challenges and future plans of our community. In addition, they participate with fellow community leaders in building leadership skills that can be utilized in their homes, place of business and everyday lives.
